Mulberry Leaf Herbal Extraction Plant
- Raw Material Selection: Fresh and mature Mulberry leaves (Morus alba) are harvested from clean, pesticide-free farms. Only healthy, green leaves are chosen to ensure high chlorophyll and bioactive compound levels.
- Cleaning and Preparation: The leaves are thoroughly cleaned using air and water sprays to remove soil, dust, and foreign matter. Damaged or yellowed leaves are removed manually.
- Extraction Process: The powdered leaf material undergoes hydro-alcoholic extraction (typically water and ethanol) in SS316 extraction vessels. The process is conducted at controlled temperatures (~60–70°C) to maximize yield of DNJ and antioxidants.
- Filtration and Concentration: The extract is filtered through multiple filter beds to remove fibrous and plant debris, yielding a clean and rich solution.
- Standardization: The final extract is standardized to the desired percentage of 1-Deoxynojirimycin (DNJ), ensuring consistency for therapeutic or dietary applications.
- Packaging and Storage: The extract is packed in air-tight, food-grade HDPE containers under nitrogen-flushed conditions. It is stored in cool, dry rooms away from direct sunlight.
