Mechotech’s Reetha Extraction Plant is engineered to extract natural saponins from Reetha (Sapindus mukorossi) – a powerful, plant-based cleansing agent. This eco-friendly extraction system is ideal for producing non-toxic surfactants used in herbal cosmetics, organic detergents, and Ayurvedic formulations.
Raw Material Used
- Dried Reetha fruits or pericarps

- Cleaned, deseeded, and crushed for efficient processing
Extraction Methods
- Solvent Used: Water or hydro-alcoholic mixture
- Type: Hot water extraction or reflux extraction
- Temperature Range: 65°C – 75°C
- Duration: 3–4 hours per batch
